12th examinations postponed in Andhra Pradesh due to Corona crisis, Education Minister announces

AP Inter Exams Postponed: Andhra Pradesh has announced the postponement of year-end examinations for intermediate or class 12 students. State Education Minister A Suresh said in a statement that he has decided to postpone the examinations till normalcy is restored. Andhra Pradesh class 12 board exam has been postponed amidst increasing COVID-19 cases in the state. The Revised Date Sheet of Class 12 exam will be released in the coming days. Students will be able to check the date sheet of the exam by visiting the official website bie.ap.gov.in.

However, the Education Minister did not say anything about the examination of Class 10 students. Education Minister A Suresh said, “The High Court has asked us to reconsider the schedule of intermediate examinations (from 6 May). We have also kept the concerns of students and parents in mind. He said that after the situation is normal, a new schedule for intermediate exams will be announced. We will inform the High Court tomorrow. “

The Andhra Pradesh High Court is currently hearing two PILs filed by some students against the government’s decision to conduct Class 10 and Intermediate examinations despite the spread of the corono virus in the state.

With the release of AP Inter Admit Card 2021, many students and parents protested on social media about the examinations and demanded the cancellation of Class 10 and 12 board exams.

The AP Inter Exam 2021 was to be held from 6 to 23 May. At the same time, class 10 board examinations will be held from June 7 to 16, 2021.
