Three Russian astronauts made a safe landing on Earth on Thursday after spending 195 days on the International Space Station (ISS). Oleg Artemyev, Denis Matveev and Sergei Korsakov set foot in Kazakhstan with the help of the Soyuz MS-21 spacecraft. During this, the Russian recovery team was present at the site. All three astronauts were feeling better after landing and did not have any problems. Oleg Artemyev, speaking about himself and his comrades, said that we feel great.

of reports accordingThe three passengers took off for the International Space Station on March 18 this year, where they became part of the Expedition 66 crew. During this, Artemyev led Expedition 67 and delegated his responsibilities to European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti before leaving the International Space Station.

While taking on the responsibilities, Samantha Cristoforetti said to Artemyev that you have helped us grow together as a space family. After the return of Oleg Artemyev to Earth, Cristoforetti is now the first European woman and the first Italian citizen to command the International Space Station.

Samantha Cristoforetti has said that it is an honor to represent Europe on the space station. It is an honor to represent Italy as an Italian astronaut as well. Cristoforetti has been at the International Space Station since April this year. He was accompanied by NASA astronauts Kjell Lindgren, Bob Hines and Jessica Watkins. All of them reached space through Elon Musk’s SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spacecraft. Until the next team reaches the space station, Cristoforetti and the rest of the passengers will have to take charge.

However, Oleg Artemyev, Denis Matveev and Sergei Korsakov fulfilled many responsibilities during their stay in space. Artemyev, Denis Matveev did 4 spacewalks of 26 hours 7 minutes, while Artemyev and Kristoforetti took 7 hours and 5 minutes to complete the fifth spacewalk. Oleg Artemyev also suffered an accident during the spacewalk. There was some electrical problem with his spacesuit. He reported this to Moscow Mission Control, after which he was immediately ordered to go to the airlock. Had there been any delay, the situation could have worsened.
