Half the matches of the 14th edition of the IPL were played. Then the corona report of two assistant coaches including four players and some groundsmen came back positive. After which the IPL was postponed for some time. Chennai Super Kings bowling coach L Balaji on Monday and Varun Chakraborty and Sandeep Warrier of KKR and again on TuesdayWriddhiman Saha and Amit Mishra of Delhi Capitals were found to be Corona positive. After which the IPL was postponed. Now the question arises that how did these players fall in the grip of Corona when all the teams were in the bio bubble.
Five main reasons for the IPL postponement
1. Tracking device malfunction
For the last two years, due to the fear of Corona, IPL is being made in the bio bubble process. With which all players were given a GPS trekking device. So that it can be known which player is where. Also, all the players and staff keep on knowing which places to go and which places not to go.
But, this time the device given to the players was bad. Even an officer complained that when he went to another city, his device only had information about the first city. In such a situation, any player could go anywhere from the bio bubble and no one would know.
