5G service will be launched first in these 13 cities of India! Also know the price of the plan with 1.5GB data per day

India may move from 4G mobile network to 5G mobile network in the next three months. With this revolutionary step, high-speed mobile internet services will be launched in the country. The process of 5G spectrum auction has been completed. Spectrum worth Rs 1.50 lakh crore has been allocated. Jio has been at the forefront of getting the spectrum. It has got airwaves worth about Rs 87 thousand crores. Airtel and Voda-Idea (Vi) have also acquired spectrum in different circles and frequencies. Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has said that the spectrum allocation work will be completed in 10 days and there will be better connectivity of 5G network in the next 3 years across the country. Let us know in which cities the 5G service is expected to be the first to be rolled out and how much you will have to spend for the service.

5G network may first start from metro cities. The Department of Telecommunications has told that 5G service will be started from 13 cities in the country. These include Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Gurugram, Chandigarh, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Jamnagar, Pune and Lucknow.

In a press conference, the Telecom Minister said that the spectrum purchased is enough to cover all the circles in the country. He said India’s 5G coverage will be “very good” in the next three years.

It is believed that 5G service will be launched at affordable rates. Jio is saying that it will be the first to launch this network in the country, but Airtel and Voda-Idea are not far behind. All the three companies had participated in the trials regarding 5G and they have demonstrated their capability. Mobile users may have to pay more for high-speed 5G internet than for 4G. Companies may apply a premium charge. However, with increased competition, a price war is also expected. It is claimed that 5G will get 10 times faster speed than 4G network. With this people will get the best connectivity of the internet. It is believed that 5G data plans can be 15 to 20 percent more expensive than 4G.

At the same time, a report by brokerage firm Nomura said that telcos can launch 5G services at a 30% premium. For example, the 1.5GB daily 5G plan might cost Rs 866 for 84 days, for which Jio is currently charging Rs 666.

During the 5G spectrum auction, the toughest competition was seen for the UP East Circle. The UP East circle has over 100 million mobile subscribers and there was a tough competition between Reliance Jio and Airtel for the spectrum. The competition to get spectrum in the band of the UP East market pushed auction prices to 160 crore per MHz (MHz), much higher than the reserve price of 91 crore per MHz (MHz). Reliance Jio had 3.29 crore mobile subscribers in the UP East circle till the month of May. At the same time, Bharti Airtel had 37 million subscribers and Vodafone Idea had 2.02 million subscribers.
