Budget airline GoFirst has introduced great offers for air travelers. GoFirst has announced a 20 percent discount on air tickets for passengers who have applied both doses of Corona Vaccine. People traveling on GoAir domestic flights will now be able to avail discounts using the GOVACCI scheme.

According to the airlines, this offer is only for passengers residing in India and who have been given both doses of the vaccine at the time of booking domestic flight tickets. They will get a discount of up to 20 percent while booking the ticket. It is mandatory for passengers to carry their COVID-19 vaccination certificate issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India or to show their vaccination status on the Aarogya Setu mobile app at the airport check-in counter.

The company said that this offer is valid only on the Go First website or mobile app. Up to 20 percent discount will be available only on booking tickets for domestic flights. Apart from this, you can get double vaccination discount up to 15 days from the date on which you book the ticket, after which it will not be valid.

Corona’s new variant is 3 times more infectious than Delta

The cases of new variants of corona in the country, Omicron, are increasing rapidly. The Union Health Ministry has said that the Omicron variant of Corona is 3 times more contagious than Delta. In such a situation, the states need to be more cautious. Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has written a letter to all the states and union territories in which he has given information about this.

The number of Omicron cases in the country has reached 200. Maharashtra and Delhi have the highest number of 54-54 cases of Omicron variants, while 20 cases have been registered in Telangana, 19 in Karnataka, 18 in Rajasthan, 15 in Kerala and 14 in Gujarat. So far no patient has died from Omicron. However, one death case each has been reported from the US and UK due to this variant.

Keeping in mind the rising infection, the government has made it mandatory for international travelers coming into the country from risk countries to pre-book RT-PCR tests amid the surge in the new version of Kovid-19, Omicron.
