Has achieved a tremendous victory in the second ODI against Sri Lanka. After this thrilling victory, a video of Mickey Arthur and the Sri Lankan captain is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In which there is a dispute between the two about something. After winning the toss in the second match, Dasun Shanaka, deciding to bat first, gave India a target of 276 runs at the loss of 9 wickets.
After the defeat, there was a tussle between the Sri Lankan captain and the coach
Chasing the target of 276 runs, Team India lost 7 wickets for just 193 runs. But, Deepak Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar shared an unbeaten 84-run partnership. On the one hand, the vice-captain remained on the crease to support Chahar on the wicket. On the other hand, the fast bowler’s smoky innings gave India victory in a match that had completely gone out of India’s hands.
Seeing the circumstances of the match, the hope of victory for the Indian team was over. But, Jeevan Booti became Chahar for India and he played an innings of 69 runs to win the series. With this invincible, India has also taken a 2-0 lead in the three-match series. After the match, a video of Sri Lankan coach Mickey Arthur remains a topic of discussion on social media. In which he is looking very upset with the captain Dasun Shanaka.
Deepak Chahar snatched victory from us
There seems to be a strong argument between the two on the field itself about something. On which former Sri Lankan cricketer Russell Arnold has raised questions. In response to which coach Mickey Arthur said that it was actually a good debate. There is no such thing as a quarrel. Actually, Shanaka has been given the captaincy of the team even before the series. Because there is a big dispute going on for a long time regarding the contract between the Sri Lanka board and the senior players.
However, after the match got out of hand, Sri Lankan team captain Shanaka said in his statement that, we performed well throughout the match. But, Team India made a great comeback. Especially Deepak Chahar snatched the victory from us. We got off to a good start with the bat as well. But, many wickets were lost in the middle overs. We will not give wickets easily in the last match. We have to bat well till the last powerplay.

No need to make issue of this good debate: Coach
However, if we talk about the video going viral, then former Sri Lankan all-rounder and now commentator Russell Arnold tweeted on the heated argument between the coach and Shanaka. He tweeted that, ‘The conversation between the coach and the captain should not have happened on the field but in the dressing’. In such a situation, answering this to Russell, Mickey Arthur wrote that,
‘Ras we win together and lose together. But, we learn all the time! Dasun (Shanaka) and I are making a team and we were both very disappointed with the team’s loss. It was actually a really good debate. There is no need to make an issue of it!’
