Airtel 5G Plus Service Launched in Port Blair, Hi-Speed ​​Network Reaches in More than 500 Cities

Bharti Airtel, one of the big telecom companies, has launched its 5G service in Port Blair. With this, it has become the first telecom company to launch 5G network in the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Last week, Airtel increased the coverage of this high-speed network to 500 cities.

The company said, “The connectivity for our customers in Andaman and Nicobar Islands is in line with our commitment to bridging the digital divide and connecting communities. Airtel Has started 5G Plus service in Port Blair. In Port Blair, our customers will be able to experience ultra fast network with speeds that are 20-30 times faster than 4G speeds. The company is going to extend this network in the entire Union Territory. With this, customers will get the facility of high definition video streaming, gaming and instant downloading.

Recently the company started unlimited data offer. In this, all postpaid users and prepaid users of Rs 239 and above will be able to use unlimited data. For this, users should have 5G enabled smartphone as well as 5G network should be present in their area. Last month, the company had increased the minimum recharge of 28-day mobile service plan by about 57 per cent to Rs 155 in eight circles. Recently, Bharti Airtel Chairman, Sunil Bharti Mittal had said that the return on investment in the telecom business is very low and there could be a tariff hike this year.

Bharti Airtel and Bharti Airtel are two big companies in the telecom sector. Reliance Jio Has set a target of converting 150 million mobile phone users to 5G by March next year. Both these companies are rapidly increasing their 5G coverage. Executives and analysts associated with the telecom industry say that the next financial year will bring a big change for telecom companies. Along with increasing the scope of their 5G service, these companies will also focus on improving their network. These companies can invest Rs 1.5 lakh crore in the next financial year. Reliance Jio has to pay Rs 87,946 crore for the spectrum over a period of 20 years.
