New Books by 2024-25: The Ministry of Education may launch new books for classes 1 to 12 from the academic year 2024-25. These books will also be available on digital platforms.

New Books From Next Year: All class books can be changed in the country from next year i.e. academic year 2024-25. This change in books will be from first to 12th. In fact, by 2024-25, the Ministry of Education will prepare a new National Curriculum Framework (NCF).NCF) is planning to bring new books for all classes. These books will be made available in regional languages. Along with this, they can also be read on digital platform.
According to the officials, the new books will be based on the ability of the students. In these, maximum emphasis will be given on activity. A top official told that we have asked the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), which has prepared these books, to adopt a capability-based approach, so that students can think more and use the learned concepts.
NCF launched in October
NCF for Foundational Stage (3-8 years) was launched by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on October 20 last year. NCF has been brought according to the new National Education Policy (NEP). It emphasizes on toy-based learning for children in the age group of 3 to 8 years. NCF for middle and secondary level (for 12th class) is currently being prepared. There is a possibility that it will be launched by the end of this year.
Books ready for first-second class
The National Steering Committee was headed by K Kasturirangan. He is preparing the entire NCF. They met on Monday to evaluate the learning material prepared for classes I and II. Officials told that the books for the first and second classes have almost been prepared. It will be launched by the end of this month. He told that all the new books (at every level) will also be published in regional languages under the Eighth Schedule.

Actually, it is believed that studying in your mother tongue has its own advantages. This becomes even more important for children at the foundational level. It has also been mentioned in the NEP.
