US Colleges-Universities Asks Students to Re-Vaccinate: Since March, more than 400 colleges and universities in America have put the condition of corona virus vaccine for all students before the start of studies. But now those students are in trouble, who have got Covaxin developed in India and Sputnik-V vaccine developed in Russia. Students taking these vaccines have been asked to re-vaccinate themselves as both these vaccines have not been approved by the World Health Organization.

News agency ANI quoted the New York Times report as saying that 25-year-old Miloni Doshi, who hails from India, has to start her masters from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. This student has taken two doses of Covaccine (US Vaccine Rule for Students). But on behalf of Colombia, the student has been told that she will have to get another vaccine. Now she is worried about whether the doses of two different vaccines will be good for her health.

US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) spokeswoman Kristen Nordlund said that people who have received vaccines from outside the US, which have not been approved by the WHO, will have to wait at least 28 days. So that he can take the first dose of the vaccine approved by the FDA.

Talking about American students, they have been given vaccines from Pfizer, Moderna and John & Johnson. They have got approval from WHO. Now vaccination has been kept as an important condition for foreign students. Terry W. Hartel, senior vice president of the American Council on Education, says, “Universities want foreign students to come to study there, because they bring diversity to the campus, it brings money, so it is the most talked about topic.” Every year about 2 lakh students from India go to America to study.
