Anti-boxer beaten by Amit Panghal in ‘home’ itself, blood also came out, watch video

After Indian weightlifters and wrestlers, now boxers have also piled up in Birmingham. On Sunday, first Neetu got the gold medal and then Amit Panghal.

Amit Panghal won the gold medal for the first time in the Commonwealth Games, defeating English boxer Kieran McDonald in the final. Won silver medal in Gold Coast. Amit is counted among the legendary boxers of India and only gold medal was expected from him in these games, which he accomplished.

Panghal thus improved the color of the silver medal of the previous edition. He defeated European Championship silver medalist McDonald Kieran by a margin of 5-0 in the men’s flyweight (48-51kg) category.

Neetu started

Neetu, who entered the ring first, defeated World Championship 2019 bronze medalist Reszatan Demi Jade 5-0 in a unanimous decision in the women’s minimumweight (45-48kg) category final. World Championship silver medalist and Asian Games gold medalist Panghal looked the better of the two boxers despite his short stature.

Neetu showed tremendous confidence in her Commonwealth Games debut itself and played in the finals in the same manner as she had played in the previous matches. He maintained control for the full nine minutes in all three rounds of the match and did not give the opposition boxer any chance. Neetu stunned the opponent with sharp, precise punches.
