Apple will bring a foldable iPhone with 8-inch screen, know when may launch!

According to analyst Ming-Chikuo, in early 2023, Apple may launch a foldable iPhone with its 8-inch flexible OLED. It is believed that this iPhone will have an aspect ratio of 16: 9. Apple has been preparing to ride in the foldable smartphone car for some time now. It has been revealed in some schematic and patent listings that for some time, fast work is being done in the direction of bringing a foldable iPhone. However, the Cupertino company is still silent on whether it is working in this direction or not, and will it also include companies like Samsung and Huawei whose foldable smartphones have already come on the market. .

AppleInsider is an investor side note While releasing, Kuo has estimated that the foldable iPhone will feature an 8-inch QHD (1,800×3,200 pixels) display with more pixels than the QXGA + screen of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2. It will have the best aspect ratio of 16: 9. It will not be like the 19.5: 9 aspect ratio of iPhone 12 (₹ 70,900) and iPhone 12 Pro (₹ 110,900).

It is estimated that in 2023, Apple will manufacture 15 to 20 million foldable iPhones. This is much less than the normal build of the regular iPhone model. Kuo said the Samsung display could also be a part of the iPhone’s foldable display manufacture. Samsung Foundry will see its display driver IC in it. In the past few reports, it was also said that LG Display will do the work of making Flexible Display for Apple’s Foldable iPhone.

Apart from Samsung, Apple Taipei is working with Taiwan-based touch solution provider TPK. With this, silver nanowire touch solution will be given in the foldable iPhone. HomePod is already being said to have silver wire nano touch solution to give touch input on top. But it is not clear yet that this solution has been made by TPK. The Taiwanese manufacturer, however, is one of the partners to offer 3D touch to Apple’s older iPhone models. Kuo said that Apple will be the biggest winner in the trend of new foldable devices due to the benefits of cross-product ecosystem and hardware design.

Apple has been working on its foldable iPhone for the past few months. The company has also filed some patent applications that will apply not only to the foldable design but also to the iPad lineup in the coming years. Prototypes of at least two iPhone models have been internally tested at the Foxconn factory. According to a report in November, it was said that the first foldable iPhone could be launched in 2022.
