Sourav Ganguly’s father Chandidas Ganguly had a print business. He was among the richest men in the city. This is the reason why Sourav was born like a Nawab from his childhood. According to media reports, Sourav Ganguly has bought a new house for himself, which costs 40 crores. Talking to The Telegraph, Ganguly said, ‘I am very happy to have bought my house. I think living in the middle of the city is comfortable but the most difficult thing is to leave the place where I have been living for 48 years. (screengrab)
The property that Ganguly has bought for the new house is 16 and a half thousand square feet. It is located on Lower Rowdon Street, which is one of the poshest areas of Kolkata. It is in the heart of the city from where it will be very easy for Ganguly and his family to travel anywhere. At the same time, this whole area is quite quiet. (inside sports)
The former Indian captain has bought this place from businessman Anupana Bagdi, Keshav Das Binani and Nikunj Das Binani. Apart from Ganguly, his wife Dona Ganguly, daughter Sana Ganguly and mother Nirupa Ganguly are its partners. (Twitter)
