Big setback in medical admission! Seats reduced in MCC NEET 2022 counseling

Amidst the ongoing admission process in medical colleges across the country, such news has come which is going to shock the students. Medical seats have been reduced from All India Quota AIQ NEET Counseling 2022. In this regard, the Medical Counseling Committee has issued a notice on the official website In this, the names of those medical colleges have been given. NEET 2022 Counseling Seats are less than Along with this, different reasons for reducing the medical seats have also been given.

Admission was to be held on these seats in medical PG courses, for which NEET PG counseling (All India Quota) is being conducted. Now these seats will not be there in NEET PG Counseling 2022 Round 1 seat allotment.

NEET PG: How many seats got reduced and why?

MCC has its website But according to the notice issued, two medical colleges have reduced the seats- Gandhi Medical College Bhopal and BJ Government Medical College Ahmedabad. Two seats each of Medical PG have been reduced from both the colleges. That is, a total of 4 seats have been reduced from NEET PG counseling round 1. Obviously now admission will not be available on these seats.

Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh has reduced the seats of one General and one SC category of MD Radiotherapy / Radio Oncology. The college says that it did not get recognition from the National Medical Commission (NMC) on these seats.

At the same time, BJ Government Medical College, Ahmedabad has reduced one SC and one ST category seat of MB Emergency and Critical Care / MD Emergency Medicine. The institute says that these seats were added to the list by mistake.
