The Indian team is leading 2-1 in the T20I series against West Indies. After winning the first match of the series, he was defeated in the second but he won the third match by 7 wickets. Although during this victory the captain Rohit Sharma were injured. There was a strain on Rohit’s waist, after which a question mark was raised on his fitness and availability in the upcoming matches. But now a big update has come out on his fitness.
Rohit Sharma fit for last two T20 matches
According to media reports, the stretch that Rohit Sharma had during the third T20 is not very serious. Rohit Sharma has now recovered and he will be seen playing in the T20 match to be held on 6 August. Still Rohit has two days to rest. In such a situation, Rohit Sharma can easily play that match. This will be followed by the fifth T20 against West Indies on 7 August. Both matches will be played in Florida.
Should Rohit Sharma be allowed to rest?
Now the question is, should Rohit Sharma still take rest? If Rohit is also fit, then it can be decided to rest him in the fourth T20 as well. Actually, Rohit Sharma has suffered many injuries in the last few years. There are a lot of injuries especially in his lower body.
