People from Karnataka Kannada version of the film (Kannada Version) Extremely unhappy with SS Rajamouli and the team of ‘RRR’ for giving less preference to them. Across Karnataka, a small number of shows have been allotted to the Kannada version of ‘RRR’.

Jr NTR and Ram Charan’s ‘RRR’ is all set for a grand release on March 25 in five languages. This film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. The film’s release has been postponed several times due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Netizens have been trending #BoycottRRRinKarnataka on Twitter since last (22 March). The reason for the anger of the people is that the Kannada dubbed version of ‘RRR’ is not releasing widely in Karnataka. However, comparatively more screens have been allotted to the Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions of RRR. Some fans demanded the team to allot more screens for the Kannada version of ‘RRR’ as it would reach rural Karnataka.
