CAT 2021 Registration: Last date for registration in CAT exam extended, exam will be held on November 28

CAT 2021 Registration: The last date for registration in the CAT exam to be conducted for taking admission in Indian Institute of Management has been extended. Now candidates can apply for Common Admission Test i.e. CAT exam till 5:00 PM on 22nd September 2021. Earlier the last date to apply was today i.e. 15th September, which has now been extended. To apply in this, candidates have to visit the official website

CAT 2021 exam will be conducted by Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad on November 28, 2021. The last date for CAT exam registration has extended. IIM Institutes (CAT for IIMs) CAT Exam 2021 will be conducted in 158 test cities of the country.

Admit card will be issued on October 27

The admit card for this exam (CAT Admit card 2021) will be made available to the students on the official website on October 27. After the hall ticket is issued, after entering the required details, you will be able to download the CAT hall ticket. At the same time, the result of this examination will be declared by the second week of January, 2022 according to the information bulletin released on the website.

  • For registration, first go to the official website
  • Then click on the Register link given on the website.
  • After this, register by filling your name, father’s name, mobile, email and other information.
  • Now login and fill your application form.
  • Upload photo and sign.
  • After that submit the application fee.
  • After completing all the process take the print of the application.

Exam details

Candidates with a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA can apply for CAT 2021. For SC, ST and PWD students, the minimum required marks in the qualifying examination is 45 percent. Candidates appearing for the final year of graduation degree or equivalent qualifying examination, and who have completed the degree requirements and awaiting results, can also apply. The exam will be conducted in three sessions.


After the CAT score, there is a personal interview and group discussion of the students for the final selection. Last year due to Corona, most of the IIMs conducted online interviews. The right to conduct GD and PI rests with the respective IIMs. CAT’s organizing institute cannot interfere in this.
