CAT 2022: Now more money will have to be paid for MBA admission, IIM issued notice

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) has released the notification of Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022. The CAT 2022 registration process will start on August 3 at 10 am. This year the application fee of CAT has also been increased. CAT 2022 exam was conducted on November 27 in a computer-based format.

CAT exam will be conducted in three sessions. This year the entrance test will be conducted in 150 cities of the country. Candidates will have the option to choose the examination test six cities. According to the official notification, CAT 2022 admit card will be issued on October 27. It has been told that efforts will be made to provide the candidates with the exam center in the chosen city as the first priority. However, if the demand for that city remains high, then some candidates may be allotted another city as the exam centre.

CAT 2022 application fee hiked

CAT application fee has also been increased. General category candidates will have to pay Rs 2300 as application fee. Last year the application fee was Rs 1900. At the same time, the reserved category candidates will have to pay Rs 1500 as application fee, which was Rs 950 last year. To be eligible for CAT exam, candidates must have at least 50% marks in graduation. At the same time, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Disabled should have more than 45 percent marks in graduation. Only then they will be considered eligible for CAT. The question paper of CAT will have three sections, namely Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Aptitude (QA).
