CBSE Board Exams 2021: The CBSE board has decided to conduct the board examinations in two terms this year. The dates for the first term examinations for class 10th and class 12th will be announced in the month of October. The first phase of CBSE’s board examinations (CBSE 10th-12th Term 1 Exam) to be held in two parts will start from November.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the term 1 examination of the new exam pattern in November-December 2021. Along with this, the board has also released the revised syllabus and sample papers for class 10 and class 12 students. Term 1 exam (CBSE 10th-12th Term 1 Exam) will be conducted between November and December 2021, while Term 2 exam will be conducted between March and April 2022.
Term 1 Exam Pattern and Revised Schedule
The question papers of Term 1 exam will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with case-based MCQs and MCQs assertion reasoning type. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes and it will cover 50 percent of the rationalized syllabus. Students can download Revised CBSE Syllabus 2021-22. CBSE Class 10th and 12th Syllabus (CBSE 10th and 12th Syllabus 2021) contains the list of chapters that will be asked in the term exam.
LOC submission process begins
CBSE has started the process of submission of List of Candidates (LOC) for class 10 and class 12 board exams. Schools can submit LOC of students for the 2022 board exam by visiting the exam portal cbse.gov.in. The sample paper has been released by the board on the website. Accordingly, the question papers will be sent by the board. The exam will be held in the same school where the students are studying. External Center Heads and Observers will be appointed by CBSE to supervise the examination. The answer will have to be given on the OMR sheet.
Board’s exam controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said, “If there is any disturbance in Term 2 exam, then Term 1 exam will get more weightage. The decision regarding this will be taken before the term 2 exam. Usually Term 1 exams are held between October and November and Term 2 exams in February and March. Term 2 examinations will be held in March and April due to Corona pandemic.
