CGPSC Recruitment 2021: Application begins for Professor recruitment in Chhattisgarh, more than 500 posts will be recruited

CGPSC Recruitment 2021: Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission has started the application process for recruitment to the post of Professor. The application process in this vacancy (CGPSC Recruitment 2021) released by the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission has started from 13 September 2021. Recruitment Details

According to the notice issued by CGPSC, a total of 595 posts will be filled in this vacancy. Or the recruitments will be on the post of Professor. There are 64 seats for Hindi, 75 seats for Political Science, 57 seats for Psychology, 29 seats for Geography, 35 seats for Maths, 30 seats for division, 57 seats for Commerce, 30 for English and Economics. 51 seats have been fixed for Apart from this, the posts of professors will be filled on many other subjects.

In total, 256 seats have been kept for general category candidates. The same 83 seats have been fixed for OBC, 71 seats for SC category and 185 seats for ST category candidates.


The candidate applying for these posts should have a PhD degree in the relevant subject from any recognized university as per the rules of UGC. Also, the candidate should have at least 10 years of academic work experience.

Age Range

The age of the candidate applying for these posts should be between 31 years to 45 years. There is a relaxation of five years in the upper age limit for OBC, SC and ST candidates. The age of the candidates will be calculated from January 1, 2021.

Selection Process

Application Fee

According to the released notification, candidates of general category and other states applying for these posts will have to deposit Rs 400 as application fee. The application fee for the same SC ST and OBC candidates has been kept at Rs 300. Fee can be paid in online mode through debit or credit card and net banking.
