The exam was conducted in 135 cities across the country. In the CTET exam, Paper-1 4,14,798 candidates and Paper-2 2,39,501 candidates had qualified. 16,11,423 candidates had registered for the Paper-I exam, out of which 12,47,217 candidates appeared for the exam. At the same time, 14,47,551 candidates had registered for Paper-2, out of which 11,04,454 candidates appeared in the examination.
CTET Exam Pattern
CTET exam is conducted in two phases. In this, the first paper is for the primary stage. At the same time, in the second paper, questions from the elementary stage are asked. Paper 1 is conducted to get the qualification to teach classes 1 to 5 and paper 2 from class 6 to 8. If you want to qualify for both then you have to apply for 2 papers.

The candidates who clear the CTET exam become eligible to teach in the schools under the central government. CTET pass candidates can apply for jobs in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Kendriya Tibetan Schools and other government schools.
