The admit card for Phase IV of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) will be released today. UGC Chairman Jagdesh Kumar has given this information to a newspaper. According to the government data, a total of 3.72 lakh students will take part in the fourth phase exam this time. The fourth phase exam of CUET PG will be conducted on August 17, 18 and 20.
However, around 11,000 candidates of Phase IV have been shifted to Phase VI to adjust their city preferences. Phase 6 exams will be conducted from August 24 to 30. The National Testing Agency has postponed the examination of 11 thousand candidates to August 30, so that problems related to travel can be avoided. The UGC chief said, “Today these students will also be informed about the examination city and exam date.” In such a situation, now everyone is waiting for the issue of admit card.
Students appearing for the exam in phase three will get important information
Apart from this, some candidates who were originally supposed to appear for Phase 3 i.e. 7, 8 and 10 August exam. These students have now been informed about the new dates 21, 22 and 23 August through their admit cards. Their admit card containing exam center information will be issued on August 17. However, the exam date and examination city information will be released today. Those students who could not give the second phase exam due to technical problems, now they will also be allowed to appear in the sixth phase.
How many students have given the exam till now?
The sixth phase exam is to be held from August 24 to 30. These students will be informed about their exam city and exam date today, while their admit cards will be issued on August 20. According to the data shared by Jagdesh Kumar, 2.49 lakh students appeared in the first phase of CUET-UG, 1.91 lakh students appeared in the second phase and 1.91 lakh students appeared in the third phase. Under the fourth phase, 3.72 lakh students are going to give the exam.
