The same question must be coming in everyone’s mind that whose game did Sreeshankar choose. That is, from whom did this star of India choose the game between father and mother. At the same time, his mother KS Bijimoi has won a silver medal in the 800 meters in the Asian Junior Athletics Championships in 1992. Srishankar’s sister Sriparvati is a heptathlete. Sreeshankar had come under pressure
Sreeshankar gave his best in the Commonwealth Games, but he could not reach his best in the Tokyo Olympics. He had qualified for the Olympics with a national record of 8.26, but in the Olympics, Sreeshankar could only jump 7.69 meters and finished 24th in qualifying. Due to not giving his best, he had come under pressure and at this time his father took care of him. Sreeshankar would have made his debut in the Commonwealth Games in 2018 itself, but a few days before the start of the Games, he had to deal with appendix. Because of this he also had to undergo surgery. It was a big setback for Sreeshankar. This medal of the Commonwealth Games 2022 is his first medal in a major multi-sport event.
