CWG 2022: India teaches Ghana hockey lessons, make a strong start by winning 11-0 in search of gold

The Indian women’s team has already won both the matches of their group, one against Ghana and they also won by a huge margin of 5-0.

India secured three points by defeating Ghana.

The Indian men’s hockey team, in their campaign to win their first gold medal in the history of the Commonwealth Games, made a stellar start at the Birmingham Games. The Indian team, captained by Manpreet Singh, thrashed very low-ranked Ghana by a huge 11-0 margin in their very first Pool B match. From India’s side, star defender Harmanpreet Singh showed his drag flick and scored a strong hat-trick. India’s next match will now be against England on Monday.
