New Delhi. The dream of the Indian women’s team to win gold in the Commonwealth Games 2022 has been shattered. In the semi-finals, India had to face defeat in the penalty shootout at the hands of Australia. There has also been a controversy over Australia’s first stroke in the shootout, which has created a lot of ruckus. India’s goalkeeper Savita had saved the first penalty stroke, but Australia was given a chance to take the first stroke for the second time, on which she scored.
