The principal of Shalimar Bagh’s Modern Public School told news agency PTI, ‘The schools are going to open after the summer vacations from July 1. But rising covid cases have again become a matter of great concern for the parents. He said, ‘The state government has said that it is not in favor of further disruption in studies. The aim of the government is to continue studies keeping in mind the safety of students and teachers.

Pallavi Upadhyay, principal, DPS RNE Ghaziabad, said, “Parents’ concerns regarding their child’s safety are legitimate and we have made individual efforts to allay their apprehensions amid the sudden spike in COVID-19 cases.” He said, ‘We have strictly followed the Kovid-19 safety protocol, whether it is periodic cleaning, issuing hand sanitisers and restricting the gathering of large groups.’ He further said that masks are mandatory inside the class, while there is no need to wear masks in the playground and campus due to heat wave.
