Delhi University postponed online examinations, now examinations will start from this date

Delhi University has postponed the open book examination to be done through online medium. This examination was to be held from May 15. Senior officials of the university have taken this important decision to postpone the examinations with the caretaker vice chancellor. According to the university administration, now these examinations will be held from June 1. Earlier, Dutta had written a letter to the caretaker vice-chancellor Prof. PC Joshi, demanding that the examinations be postponed. Duta says that more than 650 teachers have been infected by Corona so far.

At the same time, more than 30 of these teachers have died. Duta president Rajib Ray said that hundreds of teachers have become corona positive. Families of many teachers are struggling with this epidemic. On the other hand, a large number of students and their family members have become corona positive. In such a situation both students and teachers are not mentally competent to join online classes. Dean of Delhi University Examination Dr. DS Rawat told that the Acting Vice Chancellor took this important decision.

According to this decision, the online open book exam will be held from June 1. This time in the Open Book Examination, the option of offline examination can be canceled. There is no final decision on this yet. This exam is done both online and offline. Significantly, during the last 24 hours, 407 corona patients have died in Delhi.

At the same time, 20,394 new corona patients have appeared. During the last 24 hours 71,997 corona tests were done to check the corona. It is a matter of relief that in the corona test, 28.33 per cent of the people were found to be corona positive while on Saturday the positivity rate was 31.60 per cent. During these 24 hours, 24,444 corona patients have also recovered in Delhi. So far, a total of 16,966 people have died due to Corona virus in Delhi. There are currently 92,290 active corona patients in Delhi. Of these, 50,742 corona patients are living in home isolation.
