Delhi University Reopens: Offline classes in Delhi University closed for a long time ,Delhi University reopens, Started from 17th February. Delhi University all graduates from today (undergraduate courses) and has reopened for postgraduate courses. Students are very excited after the campus opens. A student says, “Excited to meet friends and come back. Online studies were monotonous.” For a long time, students have been waiting to open Delhi University. Students Federation of India demanding to restore offline classes (SFI) started the ‘Classroom on the Road’ campaign.

After a long time, after the opening of the colleges, a different enthusiasm is being seen among the students. Offline classes are slowly starting in Delhi colleges. Physical classes have also started in Gurugobind Singh Indraprastha University and Jawaharlal Nehru University from February 7.

Students were demanding to open the campus

Except for the first year, all other classes will start in DU. It has been told that the first year examinations are starting from March 10. Therefore, the decision on starting their offline classes will be taken later. Hindu College secretary and SFI leader Ankit Birpali said that you can see the frustration on the faces of the students. Delhi University had organized its Academic Council meeting in the session 2022-23 to discuss the UG syllabus.

Recently the Council has approved the Undergraduate Course Framework (UGCF) discussed, which was presented on January 21, 2022. The UGCF was created to implement the reforms suggested by the National Education Policy 2020. DU’s UGCF-2022 allows students to choose at least four optional papers from any subject other than the main subject.
