Impact of training on flight safety
According to the PTI report, the training provided by the airline can have a bad effect on the safety of the flight and hence it is considered void. Therefore, the DGCA has imposed a penalty of Rs 10 lakh for allowing pilots of its Max aircraft to use bad simulators in training, the report said.
Let us tell you that earlier on Saturday, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) imposed a fine of Rs 5 lakh on the airline IndiGo for not boarding a disabled child at the airport of Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. The DGCA had issued a notice to the company saying, as per the inquiry of the committee, IndiGo employees did not treat the passengers properly and thus did not act in accordance with the applicable rules.
