Divya tied rakhi to MP, got reward of lakhs, wrestler accused the government

New Delhi. In the past, Commonwealth Games medalist Divya Kakran, who accused the Delhi government of not helping, has been rewarded. BJP MP Manoj Tiwari gave a reward of Rs 5 lakh to Kakran, who won the bronze medal in Birmingham. Recently, Divya had alleged in the press conference that she did not get any help from the Delhi government. There was a lot of ruckus after his statement.

Parties accuse each other

There was panic in Delhi’s politics too. The parties went face to face. Accusations were being made against each other. India’s star wrestler Divya lives in North East Delhi, from where Manoj Tiwari is an MP. He met the Indian wrestler at his home in Gokulpuri. Divya tied a rakhi to him and the MP also promised him full support. After giving a reward of 5 lakh rupees to Divya, the MP said that he has come to his sister so that she can tie Rakhi to her.

The government denied the allegations

Divya Kakran accused the Delhi government of not getting financial help. After this, the Delhi government claimed 2 days ago that financial assistance was given to Divya till 2017.

The Education Department, which deals with sports affairs of the Delhi government, claimed that as per records, Divya represented Delhi till 2016-17 and has been awarded cash incentives based on her performance. The Wrestling Federation of India has also confirmed that Divya Kakran is representing Uttar Pradesh since 2017.

Obrududu badly defeated

Talking about his performance in the Commonwealth 2022, he won the bronze in the 68 kg weight category. Nigeria’s Blessing Obrududu had beaten Divya’s spirits. The Indian wrestler could not collect a single point against Blessing. Divya then won the bronze by defeating Cameroonian wrestler Blandin Nayeh Engiri.
