Famous singer Honey Singh aka Yo Yo Honey Singh has been accused by his wife Shalini Talwar of several serious allegations of domestic violence and harassment. During the last hearing of this case, Delhi’s Tis Hazari Court had issued a notice to Honey Singh, stating that Singer cannot sell his United Arab Emirates (UAE) house in the recent past, not at all till then. As long as the matter is sub judice.
Meanwhile, on Friday, Honey Singh recorded his statement before the court, in which he assured the court that he would not create any third party rights on his UAE property, that is, he would not sell that property. Let us tell you that in the last hearing, the court had directed Honey Singh that he will not sell his property by making rights to any third party, directly or through his company.
Honey Singh did not file documents in court
Along with this, the court had asked him to submit the registered documents of his company located abroad and some other documents in the court. However, Honey Singh has only assured the court not to sell the property. He did not file the requested documents in the court. Senior advocate Rebecca John, who is fighting the case on behalf of Honey Singh, said that the domestic violence charge against Honey Singh is being heard by the court and the court cannot stop the sale of his property in this way.
He also argued in his argument that Honey Singh’s business cannot be banned. After hearing the arguments of both the sides in the court, Metropolitan Magistrate Tania Singh recorded the statement of counsel appearing for Honey Singh that he would not sell his property in UAE and would also file company documents. After this, the notice issued against Honey Singh in the last hearing was quashed.
After this decision of the court, Honey Singh’s lawyer assured that during this case his clients will not sell their UAE villa and will file all the documents sought till the next hearing. For the time being, now the hearing of this case will be held on 28 September.
