Ek Villain Returns Collection: Earnings of Ek Villain Returns fell, earned only so many crores

Ek Villain Returns has proved to be a failure at the box office. There has been a huge drop in the film’s earnings on the fourth day. The film, which released on July 29, has so far been able to do business of around 27 crores.

Sequel to ‘Ek Villain’ released in 2014Ek Villain Returns‘ Has not been able to do wonders at the box office. The film’s collection, which released on July 29, fell significantly on the fourth day. According to media reports, the film did business between 2.90 crores to 3.10 crores on Monday. After 4 days, the total collection of the film is said to be around Rs 26.5 crore. From this it can be said that the film has not got a good response. There are many big stars in the film, but they did not succeed in pulling the audience to the cinema hall.

The film did a business of Rs 7.05 crore on the first day, while the collection of Rs 7.47 crore was done on the second day. It also increased on the third day and there was a collection of 9.02 crores. But on the fourth day there was a huge drop in the collection of the film.

The director of the film is Mohit Suri and its budget is about 62 crores. Rs 10 crore has been spent in print and advertisement. In this way the total budget of the film is 72 crores. In such a situation, the collection that has happened in the first 4 days can be considered a setback for the makers. The film stars John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria.

Movies not doing amazing at box office

In 2014, Ek Villain did a total business of more than 105 crores. Based on the collection so far, it can be said that Ek Villain Returns has proved to be a flop. Like the first film, it has not been able to leave its mark on the audience. Recently, many Bollywood films including Shamshera, Shabaash Mithu have had a bad run at the box office.

On the other hand, Shamshera, which was released on July 22, got a big setback. The film was able to do business of only 47.75 crores in 11 days. Its budget was said to be Rs 150 crore. This film was a complete flop. Ranveer Kapoor had a double role in the film. The film got many bad reviews. Due to its failure, its makers and artists got a big setback. Amidst the poor reaction of the people, director Karan Malhotra and actor Sanjay Dutt wrote long posts about the film and expressed their feelings.
