When Inayat was 2.5 years old, her father Major Navneet Vats was martyred during an operation. Inayat is the only child of her father and now she is ready to serve in the army instead of her father.
In Panchkula, Haryana, at the age of two and a half years, the daughter from whose head Major’s father’s shadow was lifted, now she herself Army Ready to join. He is none other than Inayat Vats whose father Major Navneet Vats was martyred during a military operation in the year 2003. This is the third generation of the family who is going to join the army.
According to the Times of India report, before the martyrdom of Inayat’s father, grandfather was also posted in the army as a colonel. Inayat is the only child of her father and at the age of just two and a half years, the father was martyred while making the supreme sacrifice for the country. Inayat is now all set to join the army and will join the Office Training Academy (OTA) in April.
Didn’t lose courage even after father’s martyrdom
This will be pre-commission basis training of Inayat, in which she will learn and know the nuances of the army. Inayat’s family was in a mountain of sorrows when people came to know about the martyrdom of Major Navneet Vats. Silence had spread in the whole village. Even after her father’s martyrdom, Inayat did not lose courage and has agreed to serve in the country’s army.
