zomato net profit down in first quarter

It was told in a report on Monday that the consolidated net loss of Zomato has almost halved to Rs 186 crore in the first quarter of the current financial year. The company had a net loss of Rs 360.7 crore in the April-June quarter of the previous financial year.

Increase in operating income of the company

The company’s operating income increased to Rs 1,582 crore during the April-June quarter of the current financial year. It was Rs 916.6 crore in the same quarter a year ago. However, the company’s total expenses also jumped to Rs 1,767.7 crore in the quarter. It was Rs 1,259.7 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.
