Former Australia captain Ricky Ponting recently named India’s best batsman. Suryakumar Yadav was praised. The former Australian captain had said that Suryakumar is a lot like AB de Villiers, one of the great South African batsmen. The former Pakistan captain Salman Butt did not like the praise of Suryakumar Yadav for potting and now he has targeted potting. Salman has tried to troll Potting.

Suryakumar is currently the number two batsman in the ICC T20 rankings. Asia Cup is starting from 27th August. At which place Suryakumar Yadav should bat in this tournament, there was a discussion on which place should Suryakumar Yadav bat and only then Ponting compared the Indian batsman to AB de Villiers of South Africa.

no one like de Villiers

Salman did not like to compare Potting with Suryakumar Yadav with de Villiers and criticized Potting’s statement on his YouTube channel. Salman said that there is no one like de Villiers in world cricket. He said that the former Australia captain should have waited before comparing Suryakumar Yadav to de Villiers.

Salman said, “Suryakumar will also say that he has become more compared to de Villiers. Suryakumar has recently started playing international cricket. He is talented and has played some good innings. But reaching straight to AB de Villiers? Potting should have waited some more. Suryakumar is yet to play in big tournaments. The truth is that no one has played like de Villiers yet. You can compare him to Vivian Richards.”

need to make an impact

Salman said, “I don’t think any player would have ever caught a bat like that in recent times. Your impact should be such that your opposition team should know that if you don’t get him out you can’t win the match. Or you should have the ability to turn the match. I think no one has played like him in recent history.”

potting said this

The captain who won the ODI World Cup twice for Australia potting had praised Suryakumar Yadav in the ICC review. He praised this right-handed batsman and said, “Surya plays 360 degrees in the field. This is similar to the way AB de Villiers used to play in his prime. Lap shots, late cuts, over the keeper’s head, he used to play grounded shots too.”
