GATE Result: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 has been announced by the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT Kanpur). The result was announced today at 4 pm. candidates who GATE Exam had appeared in, they can check and download it by visiting the official website gate.iitk.ac.in. Students will be able to download GATE Scorecard from March 21. Right now the result is not opening due to heavy traffic on the website.
It is being said in some media reports that the result link will be activated soon by IIT Kanpur. After this, students will be able to check their results. The GATE exam was conducted on 5, 6, 12, and 13 February.
The response sheet for GATE 2023 was released on 15 February, while the answer key was released on 21 February. Candidates had the option to raise objections on GATE 2023 Answer Key between 22 to 25 February. Let us know how GATE Result 2023 can be checked.

How to check GATE Result 2023?
- Official website to check result gate.iitk.ac.in Go to
- On the homepage, you have to go to the Candidate Login section.
- After clicking on it a new page will open.
- On the new page, you will have to fill the enrollment ID / email address and password.
- After filling all the details click on submit.
- GATE 2023 Result will now open on your screen. Check it out and download it.
What next after GATE result?
The result has been announced and now cut-off marks for 29 GATE papers will be released by IIT Kanpur. It will be based on the marks obtained by the candidates, number of candidates appeared in the exam and availability of seats. This year two cut-off lists will be released. The first list will be the qualifying cut-off, while the second will be the admission cut-off list.
Computer-based GATE exam was conducted for admission to various undergraduate subjects including Architecture, Engineering, Commerce, Arts, Science and Technology. Admission in many private universities across the country is also given on the basis of GATE score. Apart from this, many recognized institutes also use GATE score in giving financial assistance for master’s and doctoral courses.
