UAE pitch will be favorable for Mumbai: Former Indian opener
The former cricketer of the Indian team believes that the conditions in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will be very favorable for the 5-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians. Talking about this he said that,
“Look at the situation in Chepauk or Delhi, they are completely different from Wankhede. I think the conditions there will be favorable for Mumbai pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult. They will get swing and they will prove to be dangerous.
Gautam Gambhir further said that,
‘There the ball will swing forward. So they would be very dangerous. Also, Mumbai wants the balls to swing and you have quality fast bowlers and that’s going to be a big advantage for them.”
Apart from this his batsmen,
“Want the ball to come on the bat as well. Players like Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya have struggled in Chepauk. Because it was an exciting turn.”
Kohli and de Villiers have to score runs to qualify for RCB
Gautam Gambhir also mentioned about RCB and Indian team captain Virat Kohli. About that he said,
“There is a different kind of challenge for Virat. Because after playing the 5-match Test series, he has to play in the T20 format immediately. He didn’t get any time in between. If RCB have to qualify in the playoffs, then Virat and AB de Villiers will have to score runs.
