The states having gold reserves are- New gold reserves have been found in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Jharkhand. Gold deposits are found in Gadchiroli and Chandrapur districts of Maharashtra. While gold reserves have been found in Sidhi and Katni districts of Madhya Pradesh.
Where was the gold found?
At the same time, gold deposits have been found in Singhbhum and Ranchi districts of Jharkhand. So gold has been found in Tumkur, Dharwad, Haveri, Davanagere, Chitradurga, Raichur in Karnataka. New deposits of gold have been found in Banswara and Alwar of Rajasthan.
Gold has already been found in 5 states of the country – Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala and Rajasthan, where excavation and processing work is being done. In this way, now gold has been found in total 7 states of the country and the states where gold has been found earlier. Gold deposits have been found in 18 new areas there.
Large gold mines are present in Andhra Pradesh
Let us tell you that gold mines in Andhra Pradesh include Ramagiri North Block, Boksampally North Block, Boksampally South Block, Javakula-A Block, Javakula-B Block, Javakula-C Block, Javakula-D Block, Javakula-E Block, Javakula- F block included. Two out of three gold mines of Uttar Pradesh are in Sonbhadra. The tender for these three gold mines in Uttar Pradesh was floated on May 21 last year. The government had said in May that the auction of mineral blocks has stabilized in the country.
In the last financial year, 45 mineral blocks were put up for sale. The Center had said that the state governments are getting a fair share of the revenue from the auction. The Mines Ministry had earlier said that the amendment to the mineral auction rules would encourage competition among states, thereby ensuring greater participation in the sale of blocks. At the same time, let us tell that the gold prices in Delhi have fallen by Rs 110 to reach Rs 58,740 today.
