Thursday brought double happiness for the Sisodia family living in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Actually, the Gujarat Board announced the results of 10th. In this, the father-son duo of the Sisodia family passed the 10th examination together. Even though it may sound very surprising, but both have done this feat of passing the exam together. Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has declared the 10th class results on Thursday.
Virbhadra Singh Sisodia (42) and his son Yuvraj (16) appeared together in the Gujarat Board high school examination. When the results were released on Thursday, where Virbhadra got 45 per cent marks, Yuvraj got 79 per cent marks. Yuvraj appeared for the exam as a regular student, while his father appeared as a private candidate. The Gujarat Board had conducted the 10th class examinations in March, the result of which has been released today.

What did father and son say after passing the exam?
On the other hand, when Yuvraj was asked how was his experience of giving the exam with his father, he said, ‘Both of us had prepared for the exam together. I helped my father as a friend. On the other hand, Virbhadra said, ‘My son was my inspiration to give the exam. I have given an exam after almost 25 years.
He said, ‘I never thought or planned that I would give the exam again after so many years. But when my son reached 10th standard, I thought I can do it too. Then I got help from the school and I filled the exam form. Virbhadra had last given the 10th examination in 1998. At that time he was living in his native Dungarpur, Rajasthan.

The school where the father is a peon, the son studies there
The point to be noted here is that this father-son duo has not only accomplished the feat of passing the exam together. There is another connection between these two. Actually, the school where Virbhadra works as a peon, Yuvraj goes to study in the same school. The principal of the school says that this is the first such case to have come to light in our school. He told that Virbhadra was given full help and support to prepare for the board exams. Yuvraj prepared for the exam through private tuition, while Virbhadra studied on his own.
