On the basis of the SOP issued by the Ministry of Defense for all the universities and colleges for the Independence Day celebrations, the UGC has issued a notice. In this, a letter has been sent to all the Vice Chancellors, Principals and Directors.

The UGC President said that the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is one of the ‘widespread variants’ of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, adding that as part of it, more than 200 million households across India are expected to unfurl the national flag between August. are supposed to. This campaign is being run on August 13 and 15, 2022, to mark the 75th Independence Day and to create a sense of patriotism and to acknowledge India’s visit in the past 75 years.

Students will be able to gift the tricolor

In the instructions sent to the university, the UGC has asked to join the Amrit festival of freedom. Along with this, it has been said that the colleges will not only convey the message of Amrit Mahotsav to the students through street plays, Prabhat Pheri and presentations, but can also run a special campaign to buy the tricolor and give gifts.
