Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore was born in a military family. His father was a retired army officer. He himself went to the National Defense Academy after 12th and then to the Indian Military Academy. He used to play many sports in his childhood. Although he started shooting professionally at the age of 28 (1998). Despite this, he managed to win a medal in the 2004 Athens Olympics. (Getty Images)
