Intelligence Bureau: The IB notification states that the minimum period of deputation will be three to five years. However, a provision has also been made to extend it to seven years.

Intelligence Bureau Recruitment: The Intelligence Bureau (IB), under the Union Home Ministry, has invited applications for 776 posts. This vacancy from IB (Sarkari Naukri) has been removed for Group B and Group C posts. It includes vacancies for Security Assistant, Assistant Central Intelligence Officer and other posts. According to the recruitment notification of IB, the shortlisted candidates under this recruitment scheme will be appointed on the basis of deputation. The application process will be done in offline mode. The last date to apply for these posts is 19th August.

Regarding the application process being in offline mode, the IB said, “Candidates will have to complete a cooling-off period of three years from the date of their last deputation.” The candidate who has not passed more than one deputation must reach the Assistant Director/G-3, Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, 35 S P Marg, Bapu Dham, New Delhi-110021 with the following documents.’ Interested candidates can get more information by visiting the official website of the Ministry of Home Affairs, mha.gov.in. The IB notification states that the minimum period of deputation will be three to five years. However, a provision has also been made to extend it to seven years. The point to be noted here is that during deputation, the employees will also get benefits and allowances. This will include facilities like special security allowance (20 percent of the basic salary). If someone is recruited in high altitude areas, then they will also be given 10 thousand rupees as uniform allowance. Arrangements have also been made to provide education allowance, ration allowance, risk allowance for children.
