The petition has requested for an additional effort for intermediate and final year students falling under the old syllabus. In the petition of advocate Anubha Srivastava Sahai, a demand has also been made to increase the number of examination centers. It said that every district in India should have at least one examination center and the examination should be conducted in a different manner.
The petition requested the court to direct the authorities to ensure free transport and accommodation for the students. The admit card can be treated as an e-pass for the exam to ensure smooth movement of students appearing for the CA exam.
The petition further requested for mandatory COVID testing and an immunization drive for the students appearing for the examination and for the teachers and staff on examination duty.
It further said that if the authorities cannot ensure adherence to the COVID-19 guidelines and immunization of students, examination staff, the examinations scheduled from July 6 may be postponed till the COVID situation normalises. needed.
