ICC ODI Rankings: Big advantage for Indian stars by defeating Sri Lanka, Shefali Verma gets career-best rank

The Indian women’s cricket team is on a tour of Sri Lanka, where they have captured the series by defeating the hosts in the first two ODIs.

The Indian women's cricket team has consistently performed well in Sri Lanka. Apart from Shefali, Deepti Sharma, who has performed effectively, has benefited on every front.  In the ranking of batsmen, Deepti has now climbed to 29th position, while in bowling she has got 16th place.  She is also the number seven all-rounder.  Deepti has scored 25 runs in two matches along with taking 5 wickets.  These 25 runs came in the first ODI, in which she remained unbeaten and returned after winning India.
