Inox has also partnered with food delivery platforms Zomata and Swiggy for this. With this you can get many different types of dishes and beverages sitting at home including Rajma-rice, Biryani. Inox Alok Tandon, CEO of Inox Leisure Ltd told news agency PTI that they are focusing on the food and beverages segment and a roadmap has also been prepared.
Plan to increase revenue by 30 to 35 percent
Multiplex company Inox will make online delivery of its food items. For this, it will work with food ordering platform Swiggy, Jomato, Dineout etc. Under the plan of the multiplex company, it wants to increase the revenue from 30 to 35 percent by focusing on food and beverages. For this, the company will offer new food range.
Not eating movie tickets will accumulate impressions
Inox’s motive behind connecting with food aggregator platforms like Swiggy and Jomato is to connect and reach out to non-cinema customers. Also, the company wants to build a customer base that even if they do not buy tickets to watch the movie, but they must buy the company’s food products. The company will soon plan to start this service.
Epidemic decreased revenue
According to media reports, the revenue of Inox Company has been greatly affected during the epidemic. In the year 2019-20, there was a revenue of 1915 crores, which decreased to just 148 crores in the financial year ended 31 March 2021. In such a situation, the company is planning to deliver food and beverages to overcome the losses. This is expected to increase revenue.
