Recruitment is expected to increase during the January-March 2022 quarter if strict restrictions are not imposed on business activities amid the increase in new cases of corona virus in the country. This has come to the fore in a report. According to the TeamLease employment outlook report, the hiring activity may increase by 9 percent in the current quarter. This will be the biggest increase since the start of the corona epidemic.

The report said that out of the 21 sectors reviewed, nearly seven have registered an increase of more than 10 percent in their hiring intent. This TeamLease report depicts the hiring spirit in 21 regions across 14 cities in India. In this, 829 small, medium and large companies have been included in 21 sectors.

Jobs may come out in IT sector

Based on the sector-wise analysis, the report states that the information technology sector will lead in terms of jobs during January-March 2022. About 89 percent of companies are planning to hire IT professionals during this period.

Recruitment activities will also be seen in educational services (80 percent companies), health and medicine (71 percent) and e-commerce and technology startups (69 percent) in the current quarter.

About 91 thousand new cases came across the country on Wednesday

995 Omicron infected patients out of 2630 recovered

Let us inform that on Wednesday, 5 January 2022, 19,206 people have recovered from the corona virus across the country and 325 people died. After the change in the corona graph on Wednesday, the total number of cases in India has now increased to 3,51,09,286 while the total number of active cases has gone up to 2,85,401. Apart from this, so far a total of 3,43,41,009 patients have been recovered across the country and 4,82,876 people have died due to the epidemic.

The Health Ministry said that the total number of Omicron cases in the country has increased to 2,630. Maharashtra has the highest number of 797 cases of Omicron and 465 in Delhi. The good thing is that out of the total 2,630 patients of Omicron, 995 patients have also recovered.
