IIT Admission 2021: Indian Institute of Technology ie IIT is named among the top educational institutions of the country. Lakhs of candidates prepare every year to get admission in this. B.Des Course

Bachelor of Design course is a four year undergraduate program. In this course, studies related to design principal, images and photography are done. Admission to this course can be taken through UCEED (Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design). This national level entrance exam is conducted by IIT Bombay.

Currently, there are three IITs offering this course, IIT Bombay (37 seats), IIT Hyderabad (20 seats) and IIT Guwahati (56 seats). IIT Delhi will offer BDes course from the next academic year. Apart from this, Indian Institute of Technology, Institute of Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur (66 seats) also offers this course.

Master of Design (M.Des)

It is a two year post graduate course after graduation. This is for specialization in design course. Humanities and commerce students can do this course. One can enroll in this course in IITs through CEED in their design courses.

MBA Course

Currently 8 IITs offer MBA courses. In this, students from commerce and arts background can take admission. This course is being run by IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kanpur, IIT Dhanbad, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Jodhpur. Admission to these courses is done on the basis of Group Discussion and Interview rounds after the candidate’s performance in CAT.
