According to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), in the month of December, there has been a sharp decline of 12.8 million in the number of mobile subscribers in India. Apart from Vodafone Idea, the number of customers of Reliance Jio has also declined in the month of December. However, Airtel has added new customers. According to TRAI data, Reliance Jio lost around 12.90 million wireless subscribers. Vodafone Idea lost 16.14 lakh mobile subscribers in December 2021, while Airtel gained 4.75 lakh subscribers. After the fall, the number of customers of Jio came down to 41.57 crores. Vodafone Idea now has 26.55 crore customers left. After a slight increase, the number of Airtel users increased to 35.57 million.
