None of the Indian batsmen could score a half-century in this match. The batsmen of the team could not stand in front of an experienced Australian bowler. this is the bowler Mitchell StarcStark bowled well in this match and took five wickets in his name. Stark gave initial shocks to Team India and then troubled the Indian batsmen in the end as well.

With taking five wickets in this match, Stark has equaled his countryman Brett Lee and former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi. He has come equal to these two in the list of players who have taken five or more wickets in ODIs for the most number of times. This is the ninth time when Stark has taken five wickets in ODIs. In this case, he has left behind Lasith Malinga of Sri Lanka. Malinga took five wickets in ODIs eight times. In this case, Waqar Younis of Pakistan and Muttiah Muralitharan of Sri Lanka are at number two. Waqar has taken five wickets in ODIs 13 times and Muralitharan 10 times.
