England have played four Tests since Ben Stokes became the full captain and in all four, England chased down 250 runs and won, which is a record in itself.

Chasing a target of more than 250 runs in four consecutive Test matches, this is a record in world cricket. The record was already made a match, now it has only become stronger. The record-setting team is England, which had registered only 1 win in 17 matches before these four Test matches. Some changes happened and the situation changed. One of the catalysts for this change is England all-rounder Ben Stokes, who is now the new captain of England and has won all four times. His most recent victory has come against India, where England achieved the biggest target in their cricket history by scoring 378 runs. But Stokes’ mind is not filled with that much either.

On Tuesday 5 July, when England beat India in Edgbaston Test by scoring 119 runs in just one and a half hours, it not only won the match making a record, but also gave a message. A message to every team in the world, that this English team has now changed and it has come to win. At the same time, the matter is not only about winning, but has reached the way of winning and Stokes wants to beat every team in the same way with his team.

After defeating Team India in Edgbaston Test, England has already given a message to the rest of the cricket teams. If there was any deficiency in this too, then Captain Stokes made it up after the match. The England captain said that his team is changing the way Test cricket is played. He said, in this way my work becomes easier when players play. Chasing the target is easier when there is clarity in the dressing room. The score of 378 was big five weeks ago but all is well now.

Stokes further said, we are trying to change the way we play Test cricket. This effort is going on for the last four to five weeks. We want to give new life to Test cricket. Want to inspire new generation, want to make new fans, want to leave their mark on Test cricket.

Along with this, Stokes also expressed his mind, which shows a glimpse of his increased confidence in his team. Talking to Sky Sports, Stokes said that he wanted a bigger target from Team India. Stokes said, I had a little (desire) in my mind, who wanted them to score 450 runs, so that we can see where we can reach.
