Indian captain Jasprit Bumrah on Saturday created a world record for most runs in a single over in Test cricket by scoring 29 runs off Stuart Broad.
The Indian team started playing 338 for seven and the team lost the remaining three wickets in the opening session of the day, losing three wickets. Ravindra Jadeja completed his century by scoring 104 runs in 194 balls. Jadeja and Mohammed Shami (16) at the crease last night added 33 runs in 40 balls, after which captain Jasprit Bumrah played an unbeaten 31 in 16 balls to take India past 400 runs. Bumrah made the world record for the most runs in an over in Test cricket by adding 35 runs in Stuart Broad’s over with two sixes and four fours.
